Oakville’s Canada Day 2018 – Bronte Heritage Park
All events are at the Pavilion at the Pier unless otherwise specified.
6 p.m. – Festival Opens!
High Rendition Jazz Band performance / Inflatables, food trucks and kids activities located in the park / Face painters and Town of Oakville booths located at the Gazebo
7:10 p.m. – The Jonathan Michael Group music performance
7:55 p.m. – High Rendition Jazz Band performance
8:30 p.m. – Welcome Ceremony – O Canada sung by local youth Maya Borg
8:45 p.m.- Family Dance Party!
9:55 p.m. – Welcome from Lexus of Oakville, countdown to fireworks
10 p.m. – Fireworks!

Burlington – Spencer Smith Park
Enjoy free Canadian-inspired activities and entertainment all day at Spencer Smith Park. Events start a 12:00 pm and end with fireworks at 10:00 pm.

Waterdown’s Oh Canada RibFest takes place on Canada Day weekend every year, in Waterdown’s Memorial Park. Come out for the ribs and stay for the live music, vendors, rides, fireworks and family activities.

4. Dundurn Canada Day Military Tattoo
Dundurn National Historic Site, Dundurn Park
July 01, 2018 | 5:00 – 7:00 pm
Travel back in time and experience a more traditional Canada Day including calvary tactics demonstrations and a performance by Regimental Band of the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry and the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Pipes and Drums. Don’t miss out on the action and make sure to be out in front of Dundurn Castle from 5 – 7 p.m.

5. Canada Day at HMCS Haida

Celebrate July 1st on Canada’s most famous warship. Explore historic decks while enjoying cupcakes and refreshments and participate in fun-packed activities for the entire family! Don’t miss the noon day gun firing!

6. Canada Day at Westfield Heritage Village

Tour the village and discover what life was like in early Canada. Visit the historic buildings, gardens and forests, stroll on the boardwalk or take a hike on the trails. This is a great opportunity for new Canadians to experience the history of Canada.
